The Digital Audio Production & Design program at the college is reaching higher dimensions of learning by actually being ahead of industry trends. College leaders are active in production and they continue to search out the latest tools and examine the newest techniques, thanks to innovative-make-it-happen goals … and without the usual pondering committees, the new Studio Arts Campus features facilities that include:
+ JBL Cinema Array B-chain digital sound direct to Crown Amplifiers … a theater size mixdown studio for SOUND DESIGN FOR FILM AND DIGITAL MEDIA.
+ Powering mixing with both a full size PRO TOOLS control surface ... and a second Yamaha high end mixer, students gain a broader experience in Sound Design. This combination provides a rare opportunity to move the control room to a large, real world mix.
Add more industry strength power for production with additional Pro Tools studios and classroom Pro Tools stations.
Here is a campus of real world learning in a Monolithic Dome environment like no other … designed from the ground up for creativity and HD technology in audio production.
A BA DEGREE PROGRAM THAT GOES BEYOND TECHNOLOGY
The program goes beyond technology to also deliver:
+ Add-on education in visual design so audio pros can now promote their own work … visually on the Internet and beyond. Learn business and marketing strategies to deliver your new work to new audiences.
+ Concepts, music videos and more … working with others to create audio environments in combination with digital filmmaking, CD production, etc.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT
This is the program that places zero limits on creativity … but, does place a limit on enrollment. Look for small, hands-on classes. Dig in and do it!
