LIVING ARTS STUDENTS TAKE HOME A MAJORITY OF THE AWARDS
Living Arts students won the majority of the awards from the TriangleAdFed Award show, taking 14 out of 17 home! They competed against other local colleges in the categories of Photography, Poster Campaign and Illustration. Living Arts College has won "Best in Show" 3 years in a row.
GRADUATE OPENS NEW STUDIO
Alumni from Living Arts, Lee Lamb and Jeremy Deihl have opened a photography studio in Raleigh, named "Studio 809". Calling themselves "The Raleigh Photography Alliance", they know what it takes to run a business and how to shoot art director level photography, all from the skills they learned at Living Arts College!
A SUCCESSFUL GRADUATE'S STORY
Julian Thomas graduated from the College’s Photography program in 2012 and has been successful in his photography career ever since. While he was still a student Julian won several local ADDY Awards from the AAF (American Advertising Federation) and began his freelance career. Julian worked as a Freelance Photographer for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, then Clear Vision Communications, Inc, and then as a 1st Assistant for Scott Bryant Photography. Julian is now based out of Chicago and continues to find opportunity around every corner. Just look at who Julian ran into recently in the pictures above. BEHIND THE SCENES: STUDENTS PROMOTING THEIR TALENT
A substantial component of of study at Living Arts college School for Photography and the Audio School, is branding and promotion. Photographs turn into marketing elements, and website content. All photography classes and audio classes focus on creating advertising and promotion images as part of a campaign planning approach to applied creativity projects. The goal is to go beyond the usual developing photography majors and audio majors with more marketable skills.

News! Graduate Kendall Lynnette now owns her own company named Kendall Lynnette Photography & Design. Kendall found Living Arts as a top choice photography schools Raleigh, knowing that the business of photography could make a difference. After graduating from Living Arts College Kendall began her real world climb starting as an intern at Evan Pike Photography, moving on to apply her branding and marketing know-how in the studio business.
